Irvine City Council Refuses to Listen to Voters…Again!

On June 23rd, the Irvine City Council refused to allow City staff to review the “Build it NOW!” plan, which was written by former Mayor Larry Agran on behalf of the Build the Great Park Veterans Cemetery citizens’ committee.

The plan outlines a clear path forward for Irvine to immediately begin construction of the long-promised Veterans Memorial Park & Cemetery at the ARDA site in the Great Park.
