The New Year — 2019 — brings with it yet another milestone for Irvine Community News & Views: ICNV now has 20,000 Facebook followers!
In many ways, I’m an old-fashioned community newspaper publisher. I still prefer to read ICNV in its traditional format — as a hold-it-in-your-hands printed paper — best enjoyed during some quiet time, usually with a cup of coffee.
But this is 2019. Most of us have adapted to the digital age, and most folks in Irvine seem to prefer to get the “news and views” we offer on a screen of some kind. And the truth is that in its electronic format, ICNV subscribers and followers receive our occasional Irvine news updates, including popular weekend postings about “What’s Happening In Irvine.”
Even if you’re like me — a hold-it-in-your-hands newspaper man — try us out online. You’ll be glad you did.
