by

The holidays are the perfect time of year to hang out with family and friends, watching a good movie, either in one of Irvine’s comfy movie theatres or right at home on your couch.  Here are some of my recommendations.  Enjoy!

Uncut Gems: Adam Sandler stars in this fast paced crime thriller as a New York jeweler with a gambling problem who is always looking for the next big score. (2 hours, 15 minutes, 93% on Rotten Tomatoes)

Bombshell: Charlize Theron plays Fox News personality Megyn Kelly in the story of the women involved in the scandal that took down Fox News tycoon Roger Ailes. (1 hour, 58 minutes, 67% on Rotten Tomatoes)

Coming Soon to Theatres
Bad Boys for Life (January 17th): Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are back with a long anticipated 3rd installment in the Bad Boys franchise.

Available to Stream on Netflix
Klaus: This new holiday classic is both heartwarming and funny as an outcast postal academy student convinces the local children to write letters to Santa Klaus. (1 hour, 38 minutes, 93% on Rotten Tomatoes)

The King: Timothee Chalamet plays King Henry V as he navigates war and chaos in this period piece. (2 hours, 13 minutes, 70% on Rotten Tomatoes)
