In the bustling corridors of Beckman High School, you’ll find a number of high-achieving students. Annika Agarwal is one of those extraordinary Irvine students. Not just for her academic prowess, but for her commitment to making a difference within her Irvine community … and beyond.
A high school senior with a resumé far beyond her years, Annika has already achieved a number of accolades: she’s earned the prestigious Congressional Award Gold Medal for her volunteer work; and she’s captivated audiences as a TEDx speaker twice.
When she isn’t studying or serving in her school’s Associated Student Body (ASB) government, Annika can be found spreading joy to others through her passion for dance and storytelling. As a gifted Bollywood dancer, she brings the vibrant stories of Indian culture to life — weaving tales of love, heroism, and resilience through her performances.
If all of that wasn’t enough, Annika also raised funds to provide much-needed sports equipment to schools in Kenya. She’s also a board member of the South Asian Student Association where she champions cultural diversity and inclusivity, ensuring that every voice is heard and valued.
As she prepares to graduate from Beckman High School in just a couple of months, there’s no doubt that her journey of change-making and community building is only just beginning.
We cannot wait to see what the future holds for this remarkable Irvine student!
