There’s a hidden gem in town that too few residents know about. It’s the Irvine Historical Society.

Irvine Community News & Views recently sat down with Chair of the Build the Great Park Veterans Cemetery committee, Ed Pope.  The committee is currently working to gather the 15,000 signatures required for their initiative to qualify for the ballot. When asked for an update on the progress of the campaign, Ed said, “The support from the community has been tremendous!”

When was the last time you visited your local library? These days, libraries offer so much more than just books. They have become a great place to bring people together. There are reading programs for children and English conversational courses for second language learners. There are also book clubs, philosophy groups, creative writing classes, SAT prep workshops, crafting events, game nights, and family movie nights.
