Sarah Mosko is a licensed psychologist, with a background in neurobiology and basic science research that enables her to explain the science behind current environmental problems and solutions. She received her Ph.D. at Princeton University, and held an NIH Postdoctoral Fellowship at UC San Diego.
Joel Smith is a homegrown Irvine athlete and Concordia University graduate who excelled in soccer and now coaches at Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana. For almost three decades, Larry Agran, a public interest attorney, served on the Irvine City Council — including 10 years as Mayor. He led the fight to preserve Irvine Open Space, and defeat an international airport at the former El Toro Marine Corps Air Station, creating the opportunity to build the Orange County Great Park, including the Southern California Veterans Memorial Park and Cemetery.
Phyllis Agran, MD, MPH,FAAP, is a board certified pediatrician who serves as Chair of the American Academy of Pediatrics - California (AAP-CA) Injury & Violence Prevention Expert Team. She has testified at local, state and national hearings to promote child health and safety policies. Dr. Agran is a Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at UCI's School of Medicine. In 2024, she was named "Physician of the Year" by the Orange County Medical Association.

Harvey H. Liss, a former Irvine Planning Commissioner, holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mechanics and is a California Licensed Civil Engineer. Dr. Liss is a longtime resident of Woodbridge, the iconic Irvine village he helped design in the 1970s. He now reports for ICNV on environmental and senior health issues. Carolyn is a retired Irvine teacher. She taught at virtually every grade level, from K-12, as well as community college. She served as President of the Community College Association from 2005-2007. In 2020, Carolyn was elected to serve as a Trustee for the South Orange County Community College District (Area 1).
Franklin J. Lunding is the founding Publisher and Editor of Irvine Community News & Views. An experienced elections attorney, Mr. Lunding was General Counsel for the Illinois Elections Law Commission and served as Chair of the Illinois State Board of Elections. After moving to Irvine, Mr. Lunding became Chair of the City's Transportation Commission and served on the Irvine Planning Commission.
