NOTE: As a community college trustee, I have the good fortune of meeting some amazing people. The past few weeks, I have been spotlighting Irvine residents who are excelling in their studies at IVC.
Irvine resident Peyton Liu graduated from Northwood High School before enrolling at Irvine Valley College (IVC). This fall, Peyton is headed to UCLA and will be majoring in Anthropology.
Peyton expects to pursue medical school after earning an undergraduate degree at UCLA.
When asked about the time spent at IVC, Peyton says: “IVC is a small community college that is full of warmth and an abundance of help from its faculty members. I have loved the supportive programs and workshops.”
At IVC, Peyton was a board member of the pre-nursing club.
I wish Peyton great success at UCLA and beyond!
