Your New Four-Legged Family Member is Waiting at the Irvine Animal Care Center

by

If you’ve been thinking about welcoming a new four-legged member to your family, we encourage you to visit the Irvine Animal Care Center (IACC).

IACC — located at 6443 Oak Canyon — is a progressive and innovative no-kill animal shelter.  Situated on 3.73 acres, the facility is located in a park-like setting.  All animals in their care receive top-notch veterinary care, high-quality food, soft bedding and daily socialization.

If you are 62 or older, you may be eligible to adopt a senior animal for free through the Seniors Helping Seniors program.

In addition to pet adoptions, IACC offers licensing services and foster programs.

Their Third Chance for Pets program transfers animals from overcrowded Southern California shelters where they may have limited chances for adoption, and brings them to the center for a chance at finding their forever home in Irvine.

To protect the community and City of Irvine staff, while encouraging safe placement of adoptable pets, the Irvine Animal Care Center is operating by appointment only.

For all of the programs and services available at the Irvine Animal Care Center, click here or call (949) 724-7740.
