URGENT! Remember the momentous City Council meeting, Tues, Sept 26th at 5pm, to decide the fate of the Great Park Veterans Cemetery!
For those who can’t make the meeting by 5pm, the hearing for the Veterans Cemetery item is likely to consume at least two hours. So, you can show up any time during consideration and speak if you wish, by filling out a speaker card. Or, you can attend just to make your presence known. City Hall is at 1 Civic Center Plaza (corner Harvard & Alton).
Please attend the Tuesday, September 26th City Council meeting. The Council has agendized a formal vote to transfer ownership of the 125-acre Great Park Veterans Cemetery site to FivePoint Communities, along with a grant of development rights for FivePoint to build massive office, commercial and, later, residential projects, generating more than 10,000 daily auto and truck trips.
