Mayor Larry Agran has been working closely with Councilmember and Great Park Chairman Mike Carroll and Councilmember William Go (who represents the Great Park Neighborhoods) to bring a host of new activities and community events to the Great Park.
One of those new community events begins this week when the City of Irvine will partner with PSQ Productions to host “Thursday Night Market at Great Park Live” from 5-9pm.
This new Thursday night summer market is designed to bring the Irvine community together through local food, shopping, live entertainment, and family-friendly fun.
Each week will feature a unique theme. This week’s opening night celebration on Thursday (July 24th) will be a “Neon Street Feast,” with Mamase — A Tribute to the King of Pop performing Michael Jackson’s biggest hits.
In addition to live music, the market will include a wide variety of global cuisine offered from local food vendors, locally-crafted artisan items, themed entertainment, and a Kids Zone filled with family-friendly activities.
