Spend this Holiday Season Giving Back: Volunteer at a Local Food Bank

by

Even before the pandemic, there were more than 450,000 people at risk of hunger each month in Orange County. And right here in Irvine, there are many families who regularly struggle with food insecurity.

This is a great time of the year to teach our children the importance of service to others by having the whole family sign up to volunteer at one of the food banks here in Irvine.

To learn about the volunteer opportunities at Second Harvest Food Bank (located at 8014 Marine Way), click here.

The Irvine-based nonprofit, Families Forward (located at 8 Thomas) is another wonderful place to volunteer. To learn more, click here.
