How cool is this? The South Coast Chinese Cultural Center has published a new book that documents the history of Chinese-Americans here in Irvine.
Each of the themed chapters in Chinese-Americans in Irvine: 1971–2021 help to tell the story of how philanthropists, artists, cultural innovators and community leaders helped shape the Chinese-American experience in Irvine.
The first 1,500 copies of the book will be distributed to public schools, universities, and public libraries in the greater Irvine area as well as throughout Orange County and Los Angeles County.
