Sign up to help behind the scenes at the Irvine Ranch Conservancy’s (IRC) one-of-a-kind Native Seed Farm.
On Saturday (July 27th) from 8:30am until 11:30am, volunteers will be harvesting seeds from beautiful native spring wildflowers, like California Poppies and Arroyo Lupines.
The seeds will be used to re-grow animal habitat within the Irvine Ranch Natural Landmarks. The types you’ll help harvest were specially selected by IRC Ecologists to provide animals with food and shelter, and also to buffer the negative impacts of floods and wildfires, which affect people too.
Absolutely no experience required.
