After a terrific summer filled with a variety of free City-sponsored events — including outdoor concerts & movies; community swim lessons and bike rides; and art exhibitions and evening markets — Irvine is now gearing up for its three fall festivals.
These three festivals celebrate the beautiful tapestry of Irvine’s diverse community. Whether you’re enjoying live music, exploring global cuisines, or participating in hands-on activities, Irvine’s fall festivals offer a one-of-a-kind opportunity to experience the many voices, stories, and creativity that make up the City’s rich cultural landscape.
All three festivals will take place at the Great Park.
First up is the Fiesta Latina en Irvine, which is on September 14th from 11am until 4pm. This festival celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month with live music, folklórico dance performances, authentic Latin American cuisine, and family crafts. The event honors the generations of Latin Americans who have positively influenced and enriched our nation and our local Irvine community.
On September 26th from 5pm until 9:30pm, the Mid-Autumn Festival is held in partnership with the South Coast Chinese Cultural Center. This event features lantern-making, cultural performances, tasty treats, and storytelling under the full moon.
The Irvine Global Village Festival is on October 11th from 10am until 6pm. As Irvine’s largest annual event, this festival highlights the City’s vibrant and diverse community, featuring more than 100 musical, dance, and demonstration performances on multiple stages, along with a variety of local and global cuisines, kids’ crafts and activities, cultural exhibits, and a global marketplace.
