IUSD Ranks No. 1 in Science, Math, and English Language Arts

Families are drawn to Irvine in part for its exceptional public schools.

The Irvine Unified School District (IUSD) doesn’t just maintain a tradition of excellence — it sets the standard, consistently delivering standardized test scores that outperform both Orange County and state averages.

In fact, IUSD is now ranked No. 1 in California for Science, Mathematics, and English Language Arts/Literacy among all public districts serving 35,000 or more students.

This isn’t a one-time win. For ten consecutive years since the launch of the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP), IUSD has remained a top-performing district in the state and county, proving that academic success is built into the fabric of our community.
