The City of Irvine is now offering residents same-day permitting for solar.
PermitsDIRECT! is an online platform that makes it possible to instantly get permits for single-family residential solar and battery storage systems.
The platform automatically checks for code compliance and issues permits in real time for residential solar and energy storage systems.
Additional minor residential and commercial permits for maintenance and replacement are now available as well. Licensed contractors can apply, pay online, and pull permits without making a trip to the Irvine Civic Center.
