This Year: Create a Native Garden

If you have wanted to create a sustainable garden using California native plants and trees, plan to do it this year! You can create a colorful garden by incorporating beautiful flowering plants, edible plants such as pomegranates, or shade trees that can help cool your home.

Sustainable landscaping preserves our local ecosystems and prevents air, water, and soil pollution.  It can also provide much-needed nourishment for birds, bees and local wildlife.
