Irvine will host the 2019 Women’s World Softball Baseball Competition (WSBC) U-19 World Cup on August 11th through August 17th at Bill Barber Memorial Park (4 Civic Center Plaza).
16 national teams, spanning all five Olympic continents, will be in Irvine battling for the title of World Champions.
The tournament, which takes place every other year, will include 62 games during the eight day global competition.
The US team won titles in 2013 and 2015. They will be returning to Irvine to battle for an unprecedented three-peat.
