Seven local high school bands — Eastla, Fourth to Six, Monstera, Ghost Town, Two Seater Jeep, Entropy, and Honeytalks — took the stage at the Heritage Park Community Center on February 20th in Irvine’s annual Battle of the Bands competition.
The four-hour competition, staged as a benefit concert for the American Cancer Society, was loud and intense.
When the dust settled, Ghost Town from Portola High School — whose members performed in Western-themed black and white outfits — took home the top honors.
With their victory, Ghost Town landed a “gig” on April 11th at Great Park Live, opening for Queen Nation’s performance later that night. To purchase tickets to the April 11th performance at Great Park Live, click here.
