All registered voters in Irvine’s City Council District 5 — which includes the communities of Woodbridge, Westpark, University Park and Rancho San Joaquin— should have received a vote-by-mail ballot for the April 15th Special Election.
You can send in your completed ballot through the U.S. Postal Service (no stamp is required), or you can place it in one of Irvine’s secure Ballot Drop Boxes:
Rancho Senior Center (3 Ethel Coplen Way)
University Park Branch Library (4512 Sandburg Way)
If you prefer voting in-person, a Vote Center will open on Saturday (April 5th) at 8am at the Irvine Civic Center (1 Civic Center Plaza).
A second Vote Center will open on Saturday (April 12th) at University Park Community Center (1 Beech Tree Lane).

Three candidates are running for the District 5 Council seat: Former Councilmember and current Planning Commissioner Anthony Kuo; small business owner Betty Martinez Franco; and Woodbridge South Lake HOA board member Dana Cornelius.
