The new Irvine CONNECT shuttle and Mayor Farrah Khan — who has championed the program —taking a test ride on the shuttle.
On Monday (April 1st), the City of Irvine launched Irvine CONNECT, which is a free shuttle service that connects residents to parks, schools, hospitals, and shopping centers.
The shuttle service operates on weekdays from 6am until 8pm; and on weekends from 8am until 10pm.
Shuttle frequency is every 20 minutes.
Passengers are able to track the shuttle in real-time by clicking here.
There are more than 70 stops, including these destinations:
- Sierra Vista Middle School & Lakeside Middle School
- Irvine High School & Woodbridge High School
- Lakeview Senior Center
- Northwood Community Park & Heritage Community Park
- Kaiser Permanente Hospital & Hoag Hospital
- Northwood Town Center
- Retail centers on Alton Parkway and Barranca Parkway
- Irvine Spectrum Center
- Irvine Station
All Irvine CONNECT vehicles are fully accessible by wheelchair and other mobility aids. Bike racks are mounted on all shuttles.
