Irvine’s Hidden Gems: Places to Visit in Irvine You Might Not Know About
by Joel Smith
Irvine is growing like crazy, and it seems like there are so many shopping centers filled with restaurants and various forms of entertainment that there are parts of the city you probably have never been to. I’ve listed below a couple spots around town that you should definitely take the time to check out.
Food-Sit Down: P.F. Chang’s, Irvine Spectrum, near the movie theatre.
*Yes, this is a chain restaurant, but damn if it isn’t delicious. Note: They have an amazing and surprisingly large, gluten-free menu.
Honorable Mention: Tomikawa Sushi, in the Cypress Village Shopping Center off Jeffrey and Trabuco (their happy hour is 3-6pm and 8:30-10:30pm).
