Mark your calendars!  On Sunday, December 9th, the City of Irvine Animal Care Center will host its 12th annual Home for the Holidays Pet Adoption Fair.

The holidays are the perfect time to welcome a homeless animal into your family.

The event will take place at the Animal Care Center (6443 Oak Canyon) from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

More than 30 pet rescue groups and animal shelters will participate, with hundreds of dogs, cats, rabbits, and small animals available for adoption.

Each animal available for adoption will be spayed or neutered, microchipped, and evaluated by a veterinarian.

Dozens of pet-related vendors and gourmet food trucks will be onsite.  In addition, free veterinary advice will be provided and low-cost microchipping services.

Suggested donation for the event is $2 per person or $5 per family. Parking is free.
