Pretend City Launches Annual Kidstock Family Music and Arts Festival
Rally up the troops and join us for our extended Kidstock Music & Arts Festival! Enjoy live musical performances throughout the ten days and explore different musical stylings, instruments, and sounds! Families will want to experience 10 days of music, dancing and art at Kidstock Music and Arts Family Festival at Pretend City Children’s Museum April 1st – April 10th.
Country, pop, rock, rap — it will all get you moving and grooving together as a family. Live performances will be featured every day, from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., in the Traveling Exhibit as well as throughout the museum. One of the ‘headliners’ this year are “The Beat Buds” children’s musicians with a contemporary sound familiar to adults. Their songs entertain kids and resonate with the parents too. In addition, is the opportunity for children to paint a car in our interactive “Paint Yard” installation. Art activities including wristbands, flower crowns, and a weaving activity will be offered every day throughout the week from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
